Voyager Configuration
Please Note: These are the connection settings for UK Broadband accounts only
| 1. | Open Internet Explorer (or whatever browser you use to view webpages). |
| 2. | Remove the existing address in the Address Bar |
| 3. | Type in the following IP Address: 192.168.1.1 |
| 4. | Press Return/Enter/Go |
| 5. | A BT Voyager screen should come up |
| 6. | On this screen, you should see that it is looking for a Broadband Username and a Broadband Password. |
| 7. | You will need to enter the Broadband User Details which should have already been provided to you. |
| 8. | Enter these details and then click on the Connect button. |
| 9. | After a short period of time, the screen should refresh and it should show you details of your Internet Connection (i.e. duration of time connected, etc, etc). |
| 10. | If the screen returns back to showing you the Broadband Username and Broadband Password fields and is telling you that your BT Voyager is ready to connect, then you shall need to carry out the following: |
| 11. | On the left hand side, there is a menu option. You need to click on Advanced |
| 12. | On the Advanced Configuration Screen, click on Advanced again |
| 13. | On the left hand side, you will see that the menu list has expanded. |
| 14. | You need to click on Internet |
| 15. | If prompted for a username and password, enter the following: |
| 16. | Username: admin |
| 17. | Password: admin |
| 18. | Click on OK |
| 19. | On the Internet Configuration screen, click on the Red pencil under the word Edit |
| 20. | You need to make sure that the VPI and VCI settings are VPI: 0 VCI: 38 |
| 21. | Click Next |
| 22. | Ensure that PPPoA (PPP over ATM) is selected on the next screen and click on next |
| 23. | Obtain an IP Address should be automatically should be selected so click on next |
| 24. | Ensure that your Broadband Username and Password details are in place |
| 25. | The Session Established by should be set to Always on and then click on next |
| 26. | Apply the settings and then click on Finish |
| 27. | The router will reboot for 60 seconds and when it finishes, it should have a connection in place |
